Phillips Tube Group owns and operates multiple facilities that manufacture and fabricate steel tube. Shelby and Middletown are both located in Ohio, strategically close to steel suppliers. Our Richmond, Indiana location is home to our Advanced Technology Center.
Shelby, Ohio
Phillips Tube Group-Shelby is our flagship facility, located in Shelby, Ohio. In operation since 1967, the 240,000-square-foot facility includes tube mills, cutting, end finishing, packaging and light fabrication.
Tube OD size range is from .313” (8mm) to 3.00” (76.2mm). It offers carbon steel, coated steel tube and many steel chemistry options from highly formidable to HSLA, available in round, square, oval, rectangle and specialty shapes.
Middletown, Ohio
Just north of Cincinnati, Phillips Tube Group-Middletown has been part of Phillips Tube Group since 1993. Our 260,000-square foot facility is located next to Cleveland Cliffs and operates eight mills.
We produce a full range (OD) of .3125” (7.938 mm) – 5.0” (127 mm). And, we offer low carbon steel, coated steel, special steel chemistry options for highly formidable and light-weight HSLA, available in round, square, oval, rectangle and specialty shapes.
Richmond, Indiana
Phillips Tube Group-Richmond has been part of the Phillips Tube Group since 2020. This technology center includes several high speed saws as well as additional cutting and fabrication equipment.

Our CNC benders and robotic work cell stations deliver cost-effective and repeatable finishing modifications. We can handle right-hand/left-hand bending, hairpin bends, specialty surfacing, controlled wrinkles, flattening, coiling, and more.
